Volunteers bring unique skills and life experiences to support the work we do. We welcome new volunteers and provide supervision, induction and training. Volunteers can work directly with the people accessing Harmony Place through:

  • One-on-one tutoring in literacy
  • Participating in conversational English classes
  • Assisting with art and craft classes
  • Administrative work
  • Weekend activities with recently arrived young people

We are not able to provide work experience or volunteer opportunities for those wanting to offer counselling services to our clients due to the sensitive nature of this role.

We are flexible and can work around your needs but ask that you donate a few hours per week or fortnight for a minimum of six months due to the relationships you may potentially build with people.

Please fill in the volunteer application form or contact us on 07-3848 1600 or
